" There is something for everyone in this beautiful area of France. For the artistic there is the museum of Toulouse Lautrec in Albi, Ingres at Montauban and Goya at Castres. There are other charming medieval bastide towns to explore, stunning churches in Albi and Toulouse, and leisure activities such as golf, tennis, horse-riding and canoeing available locally. For fans of rambling, mountain biking or horse treking there are plenty of designated walks in the area and also the large oak forests to explore. Festivals and fairs take place regularly during the summer months in the various towns and villages of the region. Castlenau's own festival usually takes place on the 14th, 15th and 16th August. Castlenau also have a market in the square every Tuesday morning selling local produce. A larger market takes place in Gaillac every Friday and Sunday morning. "
