Martin O’Mahony established O’Mahony Auctioneers in 1985 and opened his Goatstown office in 1987. He has been selling residential and commercial property throughout South and North Dublin since 1968. The agency is probably one of the longest established auctioneering practices in South Dublin.


O’Mahony Auctioneers is a Member Firm of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (IPAV). Martin has served as President of IPAV for two successive years (1993/1994 & 1994/1995) and is still very actively involved in the Institute.


The firm specializes in residential and commercial sales of both new and second-hand properties in South Dublin (Goatstown and surrounding localities being primary areas of expertise), property consultancy services, valuations, and in recent years the firm has expanded into the Canadian property market, with sales of numerous residential and commercial buildings in Canada. The agency also sources properties (both residential and commercial) for clients.


O’Mahony Auctioneers has built it’s long standing reputation on the service and expertise that it offers it’s many clients who rely on the professionalism offered in a very competitive marketplace.
