About Joyce Insurance & Auctioneers
Having qualified as a secondary school teacher in 1982 John Joyce was more interested in pursuing a career in business. In 1988 he opened a general and life insurance brokerage at Chapel Lane, Tuam, Co Galway. Subsequently, in 1990 Mr Joyce obtained an Auctioneering Licence and a building society agency with the Irish Nationwide Building Society. The business thrived and today it is an integrate part of the business community in the town of Tuam and North Galway.
During this period Mr Joyce served on various committees in the community including having been president on the local Lions Club, an active member in the Chamber of Commerce and many sporting organizations. During the summer of 2008 John was descried as Irelands most adventurous Auctioneer in Irelands daily newspapers. His exploits as a mountain climber and adventurer around the world are well documented and known locally.
