Local Kilkenny woman Clodagh Daly opened her own auctioneering practice in June 2006 & provides residential and commercial sales and lettings and mortgage valuations. Clodagh, who herself lives in the heart of Kilkenny city, saw a gap in the market for a local based auctioneer who took a hands on approach to business.
Commenting on her business Clodagh said, “I believed there was a need for an auctioneer with a personal touch in Kilkenny. I take a hands-on approach rather than passing the job of selling a house onto less experienced and less qualified staff. This gives the customer greater transparency and avoids layers of intermediaries. Customers who decide to sell their property with Clodagh Daly Auctioneers Ltd, deal solely with me. I carry out all viewings, deal with all queries, manage the bidding process personally, thus ensuring that the viewers, bidders, eventual buyers and the sellers are always kept informed”.
Clodagh, who holds an honours degree in Property from DIT Bolton St is also a full member of the Irish Auctioneers & Valuers Institute, the leading auctioneering representative body in the country. She has been practicing as an auctioneer in Kilkenny for the last nine years and previously worked with leading Irish auctioneers Sherry FitzGerald in Dublin.
