Description
Tirlaughan Brae is a small exclusive development on the outskirts of the quaint village of Carrigart in North West Donegal. It features 3 superb modern holiday homes that are available to rent individually or as part of a larger group booking. These wonderfully spacious holiday homes are furnished and decorated to a very high standard.
The Cottages
The cottages are located close to the shores of Mulroy Bay and enjoy wonderful views of the bay towards Island Roy and the hills of the Rosguill Peninsula. The landscaped grounds surrounding the cottages are a safe playground for children.
The ground floor of each holiday home consists of a stylish living room, a fully fitted modern kitchen, a large dining area and a superb conservatory. It also has a shower room and a bedroom with double bed or bunk beds (double + single). There are two beautiful ensuite double bedrooms on the first floor (one with bath, one with shower).
Carrigart and the Rosguill Peninsula
The picturesque village of Carrigart is situated at the point where the beautiful Rosguill Peninsula projects out into the Atlantic between Sheephaven and Mulroy Bay. The magnificent sandhills between Carrigart and nearby Downings are the setting for the two superb golf links at Rosapenna. The peninsula is also blessed with numerous sandy beaches - including Tramore, Downings, Melmore and Tra na Rossan. The famous Atlantic Drive offers spectacular views of the majestic cliffs, seascapes and glorious headlands along the Rosguill Peninsula.
The holiday home is less than 3 km from the new Mulroy Bridge that links the Fanad and Rosguill Peninsulas. This will make it much easier for visitors to the holiday home to access attractions such as Fanad Lighthouse, Postsalon Beach and Golf Course and the Knockalla Coast Road . Indeed the bridge, in the conjunction with the Rathmullan to Buncrana car ferry, will mean that the holiday home is centrally located to play the 3 top rated golf links in North Donegal - Portsalon, Rosapenna and Ballyliffin
