Teach Glassagh is a very comfortable holiday home located in Glassagh just outside Derrybeg in West Donegal.  The holiday home is situated 1 km inland from the rugged coastline in this beautiful part of Ireland – a coastline that is dotted with small harbours, secluded beaches and numerous off shore islands. The holiday home is also within easy walking distance of Teac Jack’s – an establishment that is renowned for its music sessions and ceili dancing

The holiday home is set in its own private lawn and landscaped grounds. It features a fully equipped kitchen and dining room, a homely living room, a bathroom with a jacuzzi corner bath and 4 comfortable bedrooms. The bedrooms can accommodate up to 9 people - a further 2 people can be accommodated in a double bed settee.

Attractions in the locality include numerous sandy beaches, the Gweedore Golf Club, Bloody Foreland scenic drive, boat trips to Tory or Gola island,  sea angling, Glenveagh National Park and the fabulous Dunlewey Lakeside Centre (museum, open farm, boat trips, children's activities)
Gweedore Gaeltacht

The holiday home is located in the heart of the West Donegal Gaeltacht. Here, the Irish language (Gaeilge) is the everyday spoken language of  the people. People here switch from Irish to English and vice-versa with ease and their English is peppered with Gaeilge phrases. In this part of Donegal there is a treasure house of all that is best in a rich Irish heritage, culture and folklore where people still sing and dance in the old traditional manner.

* Take a day trip to Tory Island or Gola Island. The ferry service to Tory Island is available from Bunbeg and Magheraroarty several times a day - weather permitting
* Climb Muckish and Errigal. Mount Errigal, the highest mountain in Donegal is a demanding climb and once on the summit you can see for miles around.
* Visit Glenveagh National Park, with 16,000 hectares of mountains, lakes, wood and bogs. Glenveagh contains the largest red deer population in Europe.  Within the National Park Glenveagh Castle and gardens are well worth a visit on their own
* Find numerous peaceful roads, country lanes and mountain tracks to walk. Slí an Earagail - a Bealach na Gaeltachta Waymarked Way - passes close by the holiday home.
