A white-washed bolt hole by the coast - the essence of an Irish staycation. A superb luxury coastal cottage; centrally placed self catering privately owned cottage the perfect base for discovering all the beaches, towns and historical sites of beautiful Inishowen.

The cottage has recently been refurbished to the highest standards in a contemporary style. It has three bedrooms that can accommodate seven people.  The main living area is open plan with a wood burning stove, a modern fully fitted kitchen and dining area with fabulous views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Donegal coast. The cottage has one modern bathroom. The interior is fully insulated, and double glazed with oil fired central heating.

Radharc Banbha is located within walking distance of a quiet secluded beach (no swimming) which can be accessed through fields owned by the holiday home owner.

Ballyhillin Beach

Walking on from this cove is the famous raised pebble Ballyhillin beach. This is a unique raised beach system of international scientific significance. The distinctive shoreline illustrates the changing connection between the sea and the land. The beach is well known for its semi precious stones such as jasper, serpentine and agate, all of which can be cultured and set into jewellery. These coves and beaches can be accessed by car in 3 mins also.

Malin Head

The holiday home takes it name from its location near Malin Head. The very tip of Malin Head, and of Ireland, is known as Banbha's Crown. In 1905 Banbha Tower was built as a signal station before modern technology made it redundant.

Natural attractions along the cliff edge near Malin Head include a spectacular subterranean cavern known as 'Hell's Hole' and a natural arch called the 'Devil's Bridge'. On a good day the Scottish coast line, Tory Island and nearby Inishrahall Island are visible.

The Inishowen Peninsula is renowned the world over for bird watching, especially places such as Banbha's Crown. The hayfields around Malin Head have become very important recently as one of the few places in Ireland where the Corncrake still breeds.
