O’Brien’s Cottage is a detached stone cottage on the edge of Dromore in County Cork, 5 miles from Bantry town. There is a double room, and also a twin room which can be offered as a second double should you require it. Downstairs are the character filled kitchen and sitting room, both of which have beams and a woodburning stove in the sitting room. Outside, as well as off road parking, there is a large garden area with patio and lawn. Visit Bantry, or head out to Whiddy Island, or explore the Beara or Sheep’s Head Peninsula’s – O’Brien’s Cottage makes an ideal base for family or friends.

Located in West Cork between Sheep's Head and the Beara Peninsula, Bantry has incredible sea views and colourful buildings, as well as the beautiful 'Bantry House', which is located in an elevated spot above the town. This fascinating property has beautiful gardens that are open to the public, and is the home of a plentiful collection of tapestries, furniture and art. Garinish Island, just a short boat ride away, was turned into an exotic garden in the early 20th Century and today offers a variety of interesting plant species. Golf, sailing, scuba diving, walking and cycling opportunities abound nearby for outdoors enthusiasts.
