This delightful cottage sleeps five people and has three bedrooms - one ground floor single, one ground floor double and one eaves double. The cottage also has an open plan living area with a well equipped fitted kitchen, dining area, sitting area and shower room. The cottage is set around a Georgian courtyard and within the grounds there is use of an on-site gym, children's playground, BBQ area, football pitch and running track. No. 1 The Byre and the surrounding area is ideal for families and friends.

The village of Ashford, historically known as Ballymacahara has many pubs, restaurants and attractions. The Mount Usher gardens and arboretum can be found in the village as can the River Vartry. Nearby is The Wicklow Way which is ideal for walking and the Blue Flag awarded Brittas Bay - an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has stunning scenery and offers sailing, walking and sunbathing. Only a short drive away is Wicklow Gaol, one of the most haunted places in Ireland and Powerscourt House and Gardens. A day trip to Dublin, only thirty miles from Ashford is essential and the city has many attractions and amenities.
