The village of Riverstown is situated at the bridging point of the River Unshin and is the location of Sligo Folk Park. Visitors get the chance to experience the Ireland of old with its rich heritage by taking a trip round a typical farmyard of the past. Strandhill beach is an excellent place for surfing and is only a 15 minute drive away. Lough Key Forest Park has an abundance of wildlife and visitors can walk on the Tree Canopy Walk and spot fallow deer, red squirrels, foxes, and hares. Or why not try your hand at Boda Borg, a unique game of 47 rooms filled with tasks, puzzles and other activities that will keep everyone occupied whatever their age.
