Regular trips to the Blasket Islands, whale watching and boat trips to visit Fungi - Dingle's resident friendly dolphin are all available locally. Dingle, Europe's most westerly town has an abundance of sea-food restaurants, pubs with nightly entertainment, and craft shops selling a fabulous array of local artists work. This is a Gaeltacht (Irish Speaking) area also, rich in culture, history and archaeological sites. Set near the foothills of Mount Brandon (Ireland's second highest mountain), and close to Blue Flag Beaches (5-10 minute drive). Each year Dingle plays host to several festivals. October for the Food Festival, St.Patricks Day Festival in March.
