Lapford's playing field provides a great open space for ball games and there is a childrens playground. Lapford train station offers access to the many nearby charming mid-Devon towns and villages. The cosmopolitan city of Exeter with its wonderful architecture lies within 30 minutes driving distance. The nearest well-stocked town is Crediton just 9 miles away and a 20 minute drive.
