The large gardens enjoy wonderful views as the house overlooks Murrisk Pier and Clew Bay to the front and a clear view of Croagh Patrick to the rear. When the tide is in, Murrisk Pier is a wonderful pier for kids (young and old!) to jump off from. Bring your boat and moor it at the pier! The house is less than a 5-minute stroll to Murrisk village which boasts two great pubs; the Tavern and Campbells. Westport is a wonderful area for all outdoor pursuits e.g. golf, sailing, swimming, hill walking and has extensive cycle routes. Westport has wonderful restaurants, authentic pubs and is a very lively town, particularly during the summer. Westport was voted the best place in Ireland to live this year.
