Sandymount Area Guide

Sandymount is pretty seaside village in Dublin South just a mile from Dublin city centre. The triangular park at the centre of the village is the focal point. Local amenities include Tesco Ireland, a newsagent, Ryan's pub, Xtra Vision and Spar. Sandymount is a short walk from the city centre and is also on the DART line. Nearby areas include Ringsend, Ballsbridge and Irishtown. Sandymount is also home to Sandymount Pet hospital and for humans St Vincent’s hospital is a short walk away in nearby Elm Park.
