Ringsend Area Guide

Ringsend is approximately 3 km east of Dublin city centre. Nearby areas include the east wall and Grand Canal dock. Ringsend in recent years has been regenerated under the Dublin Docklands Development plan with new apartment complexes such as the Gasworks being built, however the area still retains the old Dublin feel with red brick houses lining the streets. The area is famous for establishing two famous football clubs Shelbourne F.C. and Shamrock Rovers F.C
