Raheny is on the north side of Dublin city approx 7 km from Dublin city centre. Nearby areas include Killester, Clontarf, Artane, Kilbarrack, Coolock and Donaghmede. Raheny has good transport links including its own Dart station (nearby stations include Killester and Harmonstown).Bus routes to Dublin city centre and surrounding areas such as Harmonstown and Killbarrck include the 29A, 31, 32, 32A and 32B. Local amenities include Bull Island and St Anne’s Park which is a large green space with playing grounds and a famous rose garden. Raheny has a village feel and has a library, a Garda station, a Parish Hall, swimming pool, a GAA clubhouse, St. Anne's golf club and is home to Raheny United.
