Goatstown Area Guide

Goatstown is in south Dublin in Dublin 14. The area is named after the fact that goats were bred in the area. The area is extremely well serviced by local bus services with the 11, 11a and 75 buses which connect Goatstown to Dublin city and the Luas station at Balally. The area has excellent road access and is only a short distance from the N11 and M50. Some of Dublin’s premier schools are nearby including Mount Anville, Taney National School, Wesley College, Our Lady's Grove and Blackrock College. U.C.D. in Belfield is only a short distance. Nearby areas include Dundrum, Mount Merrion, Stillorgan, Sandyford, and Clonskeagh.
