Glasthule is a small village in south Dublin between Sandycove and Dun Laoghaire. It is within close proximity to Dublin city centre, major road works and benefits from the Sandycove/ Glasthule dart station. Dublin Bus services the area with the No 7 and 59. It is approximately eight miles south of the city centre the village borders Sandycove and Dalkey to the south, Dun Laoghaire to the north, Glenageary to the south-west. The local landmark is The Eagles House bar which is in the centre of the village.
