Dublin 3 is in north east Dublin bordering Dublin 1 and only a few kilometres from Dublin city centre. Dublin 3 includes the areas of Ballybough, North Strand, Clonliffe, Clontarf, Dollymount, East Wall (including East Point), Fairview, most of Killester, and Marino.
Fairview is well serviced by Dublin Bus, has a huge green park and plenty of shops. Clontarf is known for being more up-market with its boutique shops, nice restaurants and pubs by the sea front. Dublin 3 is well serviced by the DART, many bus services and taxis.
Local amenities and attractions include Croke Park off Clonliffe road which is the GAA headquarters and stadium with a capacity of 82,000 people, Bull Island which is a nature reserve, the Bram Stoker Dracula Experience ,the Garden of Remembrance in St Anne’s Park and Dollymount Strand.
