Clondalkin Area Guide
Clondalkin is situated in Dublin west and is approx 10km from Dublin city centre. Growing from a rural area it is now a busy commuter town of Dublin with schools, a shopping centre’s and small businesses lining the streets of Clondakin. Clondalkin is served by the 51b, 51c, 68, 69, 76, 78a and 151 buses which provides transport to Dublin city and nearby areas. It has excellent road access with the M50, Naas Road (N7), N4 Motorway nearby. It is also serviced by the commuter train line which runs from Kildare town into Hueston station in Dublin. It is home to one of Ireland's best preserved Round Towers, the Irish cultural centre of Áras Chrónáin and Tully's Castle. Local amenities include a Leisure centre, The Mill Shopping Centre, schools, Churches and a Library.
