Blackrock is a seaside village in Dublin south. Blackrock is one of the best known and most desirable south city suburbs providing a mix of office, quality retail and residential facilities. The area is a popular residential area with Georgian houses lining the street, art galleries, restaurants and a shopping centre. Blackrock Main Street is a bustling hub due to the presence of numerous businesses including solicitors and architects and other amenities such as restaurants, pubs and general retailing. Blackrock is serviced by the DART which is just to the back of the village beside the sea and the 4, 4A, 5, 45, 7, and 8 buses.
