Ballsbridge Area Guide

Ballsbridge is in Dublin 4 on the south side of Dublin city. Centrally located it is within walking distance of Dublin city centre (2km). Some of Ireland’s most expensive streets and properties are located in Ballsbridge such as Ailesbury Road and Shrewsbury Road.

Ballsbridge is the home to foreign embassies, diplomatic residences, rugby clubs and the Royal Dublin Society (RDS) which hosts some of Ireland’s main events from Rugby matches to music concerts. Local amenities include some Dublin's finest restaurants, hotels, bars and cafes such as Rolies Bistro and the Four Seasons Hotel. The Dart is within a five minute walk and St. Stephen’s Green is also a short walk. Ballsbridge is just a 10 minute walk to St. Stephen's Green, 5 minutes from Grand Canal Dock DART Station and 10 minutes from the LUAS Green Line.
