Founded in 1980, WYSE is just about to commence its 25th year in business. The practice has enjoyed considerable success over the years, and has built up a great and lasting relationship with clients in that time. With offices in Baggot Street, Amiens Street and Cornelscourt Village, and one or two others planned over the next two years, it is well positioned to look to the future with some confidence.
The steady growth within our organisation is fueled by dedicated people passionately intent on delivering value for money, peace of mind and the best possible service to our clients in auctioneering, residential lettings and commercial and residential management. Our expertise in property sales and acquisitions is well known and this division is growing stronger by the day. We may have been better known in the early years for being prominent in the investment market, but this has extended in recent years to embrace owner occupiers. Our new office in Cornelscourt, serving Blackrock, Dun Laoghaire, Dalkey, Killiney, Stillorgan and Foxrock, indeed all of South County Dublin, is testament to our increased presence in the quality housing market. We have built up a strong, dedicated sales team and this year will see WYSE selling more houses than ever before, many of them at the upper end of the market. Our Letting Department is one of Dublins largest and busiest, with good corporate connections. Their list of properties includes everything from studio apartments to luxury penthouses, large period houses to compact townhouses and everything in between. We are also by far the countrys leading firm of managing agents in the field of residential block management. Each department is staffed by a team of skilled professionals, resolved to give an efficient and personal service. Clients can expect practical advice and guidance, which we like to think of as the hallmark of our input. The owl, by reputation, is the wisest of creatures, but not easy to talk to!! Instead, we would say "Be well advised, talk to Wyse" !!
Without hesitation, I can say that our success across all property disciplines is due in no small measure to the total dedication of management and staff and the attention given to detail in all our dealings with clients. We do not watch the clock!! We do not count the hours!! Where others claim to re-invent themselves every day, we simply strive to build a flexible organisation intent on adapting to the changing marketplace as necessary. We continue to seek new ways of doing business, always tailoring the service to the specific needs of the client. Looking to the future, we will continue to develop relationships with other relevant organisations and will freely collaborate where we discover common goals and aspirations. We will evaluate all opportunities. On that front we expect a busy time ahead.
Last year was a particularly good one for WYSE, with volumes and fee income up 14% on the previous year. This was achieved on the back of considerable reinvestment in the business, in IT and software systems, and in staff training. We face a very busy year ahead, with record inquiries and a strong order book already in place. We are firmly committed to the highest standards of quality, and will strive to serve our clients needs in the years ahead in the most professional and competent manner possible, whatever the investment required.
